Visit a Hughston Homes Community

Maybe you found our website by searching online, saw our content on Facebook or Instagram, or a friend told you about their home-building/home-buying experience with us. However you found out about us, the next step for you to build or buy with us is to tour one of our communities.

This can happen in person, or if you are unable to visit the community in person, we have virtual options available.

On this tour, you will learn more about Hughston Homes in general as well as the specific community or communities that you choose to visit.

Choose a Home Plan

After you and your family have chosen the Hughston Homes community in which you would like to build, you get to decide which home plan is right for your family. There are several factors that influence this decision: the size of your family, whether or not your family prefers large bedrooms, large common rooms, a single story, two stories, or three. Considerations for which home plan is best for any family are as numbered as the families building in a Hughston Homes neighborhood.

Select Your Homesite

Once you have chosen the home plan and the community that best suits your family, it is time to select exactly where you want to build your new construction home.

A lot of the same considerations that factor into the selection of your community and home plan will help you make the decision of where you will build. Because our neighborhoods are filling up rapidly with new homes, some new construction communities have more available sites than others.

Secure Your Home’s Pricing

One of the aspects of our home pricing that we are particularly proud of is the fact that we do not include any escalatory clauses in our new construction home pricing structure. This means that you do not have to worry about getting into a bidding war with another potential buyer and end up paying thousands of dollars more for the home that you have chosen.

Once you and your family have worked with your new home specialist to find a price that works for you, you will sign off on the agreement, the price will be sent to Hughston’s corporate office for approval and official binding. Then, if all is well, your new home price will be secured!

Personalize Your Build

This is the part of the Hughston Homes buying journey that things really begin to get fun for clients.

At this point, a Hughston team member will reach out to schedule your 2-hour personalization appointment during which you can select the interior and exterior design choices. Once you have completed this meeting, all that is left to do is wait for your new construction home from Hughston Homes to finish construction!
